What’s TFI?

TFI is a platform where clinicians doing dental implants, researchers interested in dental implant practices and firms willing to work in this field can share their scientific, clinical and sector information, and thereby they can get different point of views in the field.

TFI is the abbreviation of “Together for Implantology”. The reason for choosing an English name is the aim to be a global name in the field.

What’s the aim of founding TFI?

TFI aims to create a platform where dentists can share their ideas, studies and information on the implant within an ethical framework; and thus to make contribution to development of the implantology field.

How is the organization of the TFI structured?

TFI is an organization founded with the support of NucleOSS®. Its operation and practices are governed by the Scientific Board consisting of a chairperson and five members. Prof. Dr. Kemal Ünsal is the Chairman of TFI Scientific Board.

What are the practices of the TFI?

TFI holds interactive meetings through participation of the audiences, and thereby brings together dentists specialized in the subject chosen for that meeting beforehand.

TFI organizes seminars, courses and various training activities on implantology, of which programs and contents are defined by the Scientific Board;

TFI organizes an annual scientific conference attended by national and international speakers;

TFI Scientific Board evaluates the support requests for scientific research and projects, and decides on free use of the internationally accredited laboratory of NucleOSS®, and provision of financial support and material support.

TFI quarterly publishes Turkish bulletins including scientific article abstracts.

TFI provides a sharing environment through the implantology forum created on the website.

TFI supports in-house training activities held by NucleOSS® dental implant firm and makes scientific adjustments and arrangements for these training activities.

What are the conditions for TFI membership?

To be a TFI member, it is enough just to be a dentist or to be in the sector of dentistry. The first year of the membership is free of charge thanks to the sponsorship of NucleOSS®.

What are the benefits of being a TFI member to an academician dentist?

benefiting from scientific conferences and meetings;

taking part as a speaker in the conferences and congresses held by TFI in the fields that they are specialized in or have knowledge of;

being able to carry out the studies for an intended implant treatment by benefiting from the opportunities of an accredited laboratory which is rarely found under current conditions of Turkey;

taking financial support for attending national and international conferences with a poster and paper presentations as a result of the evaluation by the TFI Scientific Board.

 What are the benefits of being a TFI member to a clinician dentist?

having an idea about the practices of other dentists; and to add some new practices that they find practical and beneficial to their existing practices;

getting free access to a Turkish bulletin that is prepared at certain time intervals, and includes abstracts of international scientific articles;
